Melephant

Finishing this book was almost painful.

I first started this book in a random Borders in NYC while waiting for some of my friends to arrive. I put it down thinking “wow, now that is a weird story” after only reading the first 20-25 pages of it.

I then found the book at the library and thought “well, I guess I should give it another try…” I did, and I ended up putting it down again with no desire to pick it up again. I returned it to the library without a second thought.

So a couple of weeks ago, when I saw it at the library again, what do I think? “Well, it couldn’t have been that bad…” and I picked it up again.

It was that bad…
