Thoughts on books and knitting

Find Me.

findmeI have to refer back to the post about the last Rosie book I have read as I write this one. In that post, I write that Rosie “is an amazing person that genuinely cares for people and the greater good of society”. I truly believe that this is true.

This book shows just how much she cares for other people- she helps someone that probably needs it the most. It is hard to write this post without giving away the ending to the book, but lets just say that it is very unexpected.

I believe that we all will need some form of assistance in our lives, whether it be from a friend, our family, or a complete stranger in a time of need. This book shows just how far one kind soul would go for another- a complete stranger in need.

Have a Second Helping.

secondhelpings

I just realized how long it has been since I have updated my post- I feel like I finished this book about a year ago. I didn’t, of course, but still. I know, no excuses. Onto reviews…

This was the second installment in the Jessica Darling series. I enjoy her books- she really seems to capture the characters in a very realistic light. In this book, Jessica is still in high school, and it really reminded me of how it felt to be back in high school- not that I wish to relive that time of my life.
